I agree with Colo, mainly, some ships its almost impossible to do due to lack of sources (pre 1850) and rigging but anything after 1900 could/maybe should be done. It really gives an impression of dimensions other than length and height

There's no such thing as "nothing left to draw" If you can down 10 pints and draw, you're doing alright by my standards

There is nothing preventing of doing 3 view drawings, aside they would stretch the sheets pretty badly and ruin the concept of the shipbucket drawings easy and usable size for lot smaller ships than currently.
AlsoI think of all the ships I've drewn, about 30 % migth have had any change to find references for good presentations. Many seems to ignore the fact, that aside few good and famous ships out there, bulk of the masses is by default really poorly presented, and even finding reliable line-drawing can be difficould at some cases.
