Re:Gotrige

I decided I wanted to make a reboot of the Gotrige AU(so if a mod wants to lock the old thread, go ahead). Most of the story remains the same, but Erikrike is never estabilished, so Gotrige covers the entirety of RL Sweden, Norway and Denmark. I've also made a new, simpler flag.

During the wars between the houses of Sverker, Erik and Folkung for the power in Västra Götaland, the House of Sverker would with the help of the Danes emerge victorious. With the Calmar Union during the 14th century, Norway was pulled in as well. The CU would however have a sudden end in 1467, when Johan Sverkersson IV gathered his political opponents in Copenhagen, and executed them all, either by beheading or hanging. This would later become known as The Bloodbath of Copenhagen(Blubade i København). Even though Norway tried to pull herself out off the Union, she was held on to.
In 1540 an expedition was sent to retake Iceland and Greenland. Despite initial difficulties, the two Islands were conquered.
During year 1573 a prince of the House of Württemberg was married into the Royal family of the nation now bearing the name of Gotrige. This led to a fairly large part of Germany being effectively "Gotrigized", even though their influence would greatly decrease during the following centuries. A small piece of land on the German coast would however remain under Gotrigian control even until these days.
In the middle 17th century an interesst for colonies in the New World was suddenly appearing in the goverment. As Gotrige allready had Greenland fairly close to The New World, initial expeditions to close island, and later the continent, would almost allways start from there. In the end, a fairly large part of what might otherwise have been Canada, ended up under the Sceptre of Gotrige. Colonies around Africa was later obtained as well, as well as some in the East Indies. There, a pact with the Dutch would be sealed in 1728 as to avoid fighting between the two nations, and to easier defend against other intruders. This pact would last until WW2, when both countries were more or less forced from their colonies.
During the Napoleonic Wars, Gotrige remained neutral until the close end, were they joined forces with Napoleon's enemies.
The following century would go on relatively peacefully, no serious danger to Gotrige's empire really happening untill WW1 started.

There were a LOT of inconcistanies in equipment and overall look on the ships, all depending on what RL design I liked at the moment. This redo aims at taking away these inconcistanies, and make the designs more streamlined and matching each other. Some old ships may be redesigned and redrawn(If I ever get around to it, the Sverkre Grip is a ship I want to redraw, becouse while I was happy with the design, there were some details that sorta bugged me), some will not reappear at all(Like the Vaderneriget Super Battleship), and some new designs will appear.
And, I will off cource reserve some four-five posts for different ship types.

Sverkre Grip-Class
The Sverkre Grip class was built as a reply to the fast battleships laid down by other superpowers. The HGrMS Sverkre Grip was famously the flagship of Jonas Crohnanker in the pacific war.

Konger Sverker XVIII-Class 1937
The Konger Sverker XVIII class was the first(and only) battleships Gotrige built in(relative) accordance with the naval treaties. They were armed with nine 375mm/47 rifles for the main artillery, with sixteen semi-automatic 130mm/50 serving as secondaries, theoretically capable of DP service, and a slew of smaller AAA, being one of the first Capital Ships in the world to sport the Bofors 40 mm. She was heavily armoured, with an armour belt of 330 mm and deck protection of 175 mm. The speed was that of 30 knots.
The first ship was commissioned in January 1941, the second in October the same year.
The KS18 spent her time either waiting for action in port, or stalking the ocean in fruitless search for German raiders. Suffering damage from a torpedo from a U-boat, she was taken in for repair and modernization, reinforcing her AAA and improving FC. After the mod, she was named flagship of the Atlantic Fleet in 1943, and served in that capacity to the end of the war.
She was mothballed in 1949, and decommissioned in 1958. Two years later she was sold for scrap.
The second ship, Druttning Viktohria was transferred to the pacific soon after commissioning, along with the British Force Z. She remained in Singapore, escaping their fate, but only twelve days later shared it when she fled Singapore.

Amiral Crohnanker Class 1987
The biggest surface combatant built for the GRN since WW2, this class consisted of two 18 000 tonnes cruisers designed mainly for ASuW and AAW. Served mainly as flagships for battlegroups.

Don't know how many four views I'll make(I'm more accustomed to the side and top view...), but hopefully there will be more. I might PM you for some help on smaller ships though.

I'd be more than happy to help, though I've never seen such a large 4-view AU drawing before, though it seems you've doubled up on your shading on fore and aft views (Port and starboard have same shading) Though I'm not sure what SB standard exactly dictates on such matters
