Hello everyone

I think it should be no problem if another ship of the same class is drawn, or the same ship at another time (I did that with the Fantasque and am planning to do it again with one or two sisters of the Casabianca [Redoutable-class] which is already in the archive). Some people prefer to draw from scratch rather than modify existing drawings (I could have used Rurik's excellent Derfflinger, but did not, not because it was bad, but because I WANTED to draw that ship myself). Of course, that's just my opinion - if that offends anyone, I'll back off from doing additional Redoutable-class subs.

Greetings
GD

As to the IJN subs, they're all fairly recent, top-notch drawings, so none need updating. (Some of the carriers, on the other hand...well, check the archives and see for yourself.)

I am ok with it, as long you don't do the Casabianca.

Hello again!

The last of the 600-tonnes subs: The Ariane-class, usually considered the best of the lot. Here shown in their late 1930s dark blue paint job.

BTW: No sweat DP. I'm doing the Archimede as finished and the Pascal shortly before the war (that's what the sources are labeled anyway; let's just hope they got it right).

Greetings

Casabianca : The French Submarine ! I had the honor to have the red fourragére during six years while serving aboard SSN Casabianca S603. The hardest part of my career in the submarine forces, but so much good souvenir.

Hello everyone!

The next major french submarine type was the 630-tonnes class, also divided into three subclasses: Schneider-Type/Argonaute class, already done by DP; Loire-Type/Ondine class; to come next, although very poorly documented on the net; and Normand-Type/Diane class - presented below
