A friend asked me if I'd draw a SB scale drawing of a sailing ship he drew but I lack the skill to do it, could someone possibly help me with it?

unfortunatly he's only good a drawing the hull, so it would have to require some guess work for the rigging however the fallowing image might point you in the right direction.

17th to 18th century is what I would base it on. the vessel has details and shapes which point at both late 18th and early 17th century dutch ships. meaning, her rigging can be found to be like this (18th century):

the bowsprit points at the use of staysails, the stern and mizzen mast looks like she has an latin mizzen mast. the fore and mainmast most likely carry square sails.
