USS Joseph T. Dickman, the former President Roosevelt in 1944. She’s wearing Measure 22.

What are your sources for the camouflage colors?

This is a source for colours which I've been using for a while now (not for pixel art). It also gives values for some standard non-camouflage colours.
http://www.banksofthesusquehanna.com/Co ... p_camo.htm

There's also a pages for colours used on British ships, Aircrafts and Railway Cars. The site has been hevily updated during the past years.
http://www.banksofthesusquehanna.com/Color_Charts/

But, what I've actualy used is perhaps the most obvious source imaginable... ;)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_ ... tates_Navy

The article seams well researched. It gives information about the individual measures and its aplication as well as the paints (mixing formula, reflectivity and Munsell value).

There's always some difficulty when converting colours into screen values... It would have been to good if these two sources were in agreement - but alas they are not. At least they are fairly close, in most cases.

Cool, the source I've always used was Snyder & Short - I see the Wiki article has referenced them. Anyway I think it's probably worth checking all the camo colors on my ships... some of them date from 2008 and before.

I was just checking out those sites and I love the idea of Measure 5 with its fake bow wave.
