The Kumari class was a new breed of battlecruiser, or cruiser killer. The Empire was suffering its worst decline in centuries. The economy was stagnant, and was starting to decline. Other nations had built up large cruiser fleets that could inflict severe damage to the Empire´s supply lines. The Admiralty set up a set of requirements for a new cruiser killer that could easily destroy any cruisers without being damaged in return. The design eventually grew to an almost full-sized battleship, armed with 8 14 inch guns in two quad turret mounted forward. Four triple six inch guns amidships were to be used against destroyers while 6 twin 5 inch guns would provide long range AAA fire. Point-defense AA weapons included 32 twin 30mm autocannons and 18 45mm triple autocannons. The class was also armed with four quad torpedo launchers in an arrangement similar to the Japanese cruisers. The ship was armored enough to withstand it´s own guns. A long sleek hull and powerful steam turbines gave her a very high top speed of 35 knots, enough to outrun any battleships ever built. The original naval plan was for five ships of the class, but only two were constructed. The other three orders were changed to a new battleship class, the first truly modern battleship that the Empire would build before the Great War.

The battleship will be much larger, with three triple turrets instead of the problematic quad arrangemant of the Kumari class. Two forward and one aft. Other improvements based on the experience of the Kumari class will be incorporated.

Interesting ship, though a bit monotone for my taste. The two 30mm mounts being placed on top of each other down to the pixel on the sides of the conning tower, for example, and the way the railing beginns and ends exactly at the same places around them. So yeah, I think that's something you could work on.
I do, however, really like your turrets and gun mounts, especially the 5" guns.
Which leads me to thinking... would the different nations of Tamriel use the same measuring systems as us? It would make sense if they didn't. (I know, I think too much about these things. This is just me pondering, I'm not saying you should invent a new measurement system)
Minor nitpick for the story though:

As an amateur author, I can't help feeling that you should not compare ships from a separate universe with RL ships in the backstory. It really breakes the mood. I'd make note of inspiration and such in the "designer's notes" I'd place under the drawing.

The measuring system and the comparing of the Japanese cruisers are there so others can understand what I mean.

Here´s the Empires only truly modern battleship; the Skingrad class. Armed with nine 16 inch guns, 20 5 inch DP guns, 26 triple 45mm guns, and 50 30mm guns.

Here´s the first battleship in the Argonian navy; the Argonia. She was built in Skyrim because the Empire did not export weapons to other nations. The Argonia is armed with 8x12 inch guns and 20x76mm guns. She is a rather small dreadnought because Argonia is mostly marshland and the coast is not that very deep. The military infrastrucure in Argonia is also rather lacking. Though small, they were still very powerful, and well armored for a ship of her size.

A very beautiful ship, I must say! I like the turrest particularly!
Can't help thinking though, that with the given backstory a CDS might be more suitable.

Here´s the successor to the Windhelm class; the Whiterun class. While not having more powerful main battery, the layout was superior to that of the Windhelm. The secondary battery was also moved into better positions.

Now for something more modern for Skyrim; the Ysgramor class. Armed with 8x16 inch guns in four twin turrets. The secondaries are six twin 6 inch guns and 8x4 inch twin AA guns. Point-defense AA is provided by 16 double 40mm guns and 30 20mm guns. The ship was a result of a rather traditionalist movement that had swept the military of Skyrim in the mid 5E150s. That is the reason for the four twin turrets and the mixed secondaries. The ship was built with radars, and as such, did not have a catapult for seaplanes. What the ships lacked in firepower, they made up for in terms of armor and speed, the ships had a top speed of 32 knots. The Ulfric Stormcloak managed to reach 32,7 knots on its speed trials. The ships were regarded as very handsome ships and well regarded by the Royal Navy as steady gun platforms. The ships suffered from rather short range, and in some cases, unreliable engines.
