Nice work Jabba, just a little nit-pick: it was "A3D" not "A-3D" (pre-1962 and post-1962 designations, only that there was no post-1962 A-3D designation, only "A" and "B").

C-46A Commando
[ img ]
CW-20A/C-55 Commando- B.O.A.C "St Louis" 1941.

This aircraft was in fact the Prototype that lead the C-46 Commando Family. Originally a passenger airliner prototype, it was fitted with a dihedralled tailplane and endplate vertical tail fins and powered by two 1,700 hp (1,268 kW) Wright R-2600 Twin Cyclone radial piston engines. It was later refitted with the single tail and was in brief service with the U.S.A.A.C designated as the C-55 before being lend-leased to the British Government in 1941 for BOAC.

I have updated the Commando drawings and have been reposted back on page 22 and it also includes this as well as the C-46 A,D & F. there will be more painted up C-46s on the way oh and to both Darth Panda and Eswube you guys can both feel free to do them up in R.O.C.A.F and Deutsche Lufthansa colors.

It's been long time since I've done FD scale, but noticed (/or couldn't find) a lack of MiG-31s in the bucket, so:

Darth Panda did MiG-31 not so long ago, but strangely He later removed it. But it's not lost (and hopefully it will be uploaded soon to Main Archive):

@Gollevainen
Unfortunately some drawings are indeed lost. But some of those that were posted and later removed have been preserved by some Users.

@Squizzy
Progress of "Polish Wings" thread (esp. in relation to parts that will be covering post-war military aviation) makes me think about starting also "Soviet Wings" thread sometime later.
