Shipbucket

My discipline on uploading to the libaray is poor, so I try to make a list of all ships I've done and uploaded - and not uploaded.

this might be a good moment to bring this up...... I have been wondering this some time.
apart from the fact which one is more accurate/detailed, which drawing is prefered in the main site? psilanders work, which looks good but is unusable for parts and for some comparision work, or the 'shipbucket standard' work? or would in the above 'duplicate' cases, it be best to show the 2 ships next to each other? this of course applies to all future redraws or modifications of the ships psilander has drawn as well.

Of the drawings that are duplicating something that someone else have allready submitted to the archive, I am afraid to say, that by our practices, the first gets served first, in what comes to the dicipline to follow the uploading session procedures.
Of the rest, I think there is no reason why not upload them. If we would go by the book, then you would have to submitt them on the next uploading session, but since we are not all that pedant, You could craft them into some neat folder that can be rather painlessly processed by us.

Maybe the admin team can create a seperate folder for Psilander work, like the FD scale folder or like the "Unknown" folder?
That way we get to retain all work by Psilander, while adherring to the Shipbucket standard.

You are correct in that this isn't the right place, so if one of the mods would be so kind as to move this discussion to it's own thread, that would be great.
There's a few threads in the "Announcements" section at the top of each forum. You need to copy the URL of your image and use the IMG tags like this:
