Would be a lot easier to look at if you had each drawing on its own template. ;)

They're beautiful! I must say that I love you design of hull, turrets/gun mounts and superstructure! MOAR! :D
I do agree that some funnels are quite extreme in height, the Iperian ships being the most obvious. There is simply no need for funnels that high; It might even add a top weight problem. If your main concern was having an individual style, I think you have it regardless of funnel height.

The reson the Iperians have such high funnels was due their poor quailty in marine boilers and the even poorer quality of fuel created a large amount of thick black smoke and the tall funnels seamed to them the logical solution to keep from smogging the entire uper works. None the less I will see how shortening the funnels looks.

For more information on the Iperian Empire(and perhaps some insite to the method of my madness) check this out: http://wwii44.deviantart.com/gallery/44 ... d=156749ed

They are very nice indeed, though - besides the fact that these funnels indeed look bit odd (but I understand Your rationale), I have some doubts about height of the decks on some ships (judging by the space between windows or by the construction elements).
For example Ceasar-class cruiser has a lookout on the main mast, which is 11 pixels high from the bottom side of the floor to the top of the roof - and 11 pixels is 165 centimeters or 65 inches - from which You have to subtract thickness of the floor and roof (3 pixels each, by SB standards - but let's just count it as 4 pixels - 3 for floor, 1 for roof - it leaves 7 pixels to move inside - 107 centimeters, or 42 inches).
And basically all Your ships have similar issues. :(
But other than that, it's a nice start! :)

I never though of that, I may rectify this in the future. However I'm going to keep the ANS Avenger as I would have to entirly redesin her spotting tops to do the things metioned above(Something I'm not willing to do)

Looking forward to more!

it's an useful tool to design pre-1950 ships, it's not infalible but it's a good way to see if the ship you have designed is feasible or not.
