A WIP so far:

That's about as far as I can go without a detailed source image (except for the paint of course). At this moment I'm having troubles with her guns... Wiki says she was armed with 4 127mm type 89 AA guns (presumably, 2 twin-mounts). But on images of the ship that I was able to dig out online the front turret looks definitely like something else, probably some other 127mm naval gun (this one perhaps). Can anyone clarify this for me please? Also if these guns were already drawn I'd rather use existing version ;)
Comments, suggestions?

Very nice, but the guns are definitely out of scale.

I would guess that that's an adapted Army piece as opposed to an actual naval piece.

Please note that te foreward mount is a twin mount, the aft one is single.

Thanks! I'm definitely using the front mount from Nashi. The rear mount on Akitsushima is quite different though.

I've got some drawings of other ships! are you willing to have those, I can scan them for you!
