When we say vertical magazine with respect to the Mk-11, we mean it's internally similar to the Mk-13, in that the missiles are stored vertically before making it to the launcher arm, like so:
Talos however uses a purely horizontal loading mechanism:
While there were a variety of Terrier launchers (ranging from the vertical loaders on
Boston and
Canberra to the angled loaders on the
Leahy class and
Belknap class, to the horizontal loaders on the
Kittyhawk Class,
Providence Class, and on
Long Beach), you haven't depicted a Terrier launcher here. Just for reference, this is what the angled loader looks like:
As an aside, in the past you (Psilander) have stuck a Seadart atop a Talos booster, which is frankly, a bit silly, for reasons of missile size. Talos is HUGE, as shown here:
It would make a lot more sense to stick Sea Dart atop a Terrier booster (which the US actually exported, in opposition to the Talos system, which was USN only).
