My drawing of 'HMS Albion' was very much inspired by "Hood's" drawing of Battleship 'X' seen here:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... =13&t=3751

I really liked "Hood's" work and the proposed design, but I'm not a fan of the 'pre-dreadnought' turret layout. Thus, I produced a drawing with three main turrets with minimal adjustment to achieve what I think is a better looking ship, drawn more to my own style. Other changes are equally self evident.

That's a nice effect, putting real water in around the ship. Nice work!

That is one good looking battleship. In effect a cheaper Vanguard and perhaps a ship that might have had some utility had it been built during the war.

I like her, nice one Monty :) If you can keep the same displacement it would be a good design, what with the new look 4.5-in twins; but can you tell us what the main armament is? 14-in?

Hmm, I am not entirely sure about the Shipbucket work being used outside the Shipbucket template. If you are going to modify any Shipbucket drawing or part, you MUST use the template. This is very clearly defined in the Fair Use Agreement.

I hate to be "that guy" but there are really no exceptions. :(

How 'bout an "official" version, properly placed within a template and all(I realize official might sound wrong, since it won't be uploaded in either case, but you probably get what I'm saying), and one version like this? I like this version too much to be willing to parts from it. ;)

Then again this is the NON-shipbucket drawing forum where people have posted "shipbucket"-type of drawings without the official layot for that very reason.
