:D I've been gone for a couple of weeks and what a nice surprise awaiting for me here at sb. They all look very well drawn, but I'll question the colours for at least Atherstone (pale) and Cottesmore (dark). I'll pm you with suggestions ;)
But over all; great work :!:

Thanks to Bombhead, who had found this gold mine of a site regarding the unofficial badges for Royal Navy; http://empiretocommonwealth.webs.com/un ... esnavy.htm
gave me the opportunity to draw the badge for my next project. It's the camo paint of HMS Argus in 1918. Unfortunately I haven't any description of the badges colours :( Therefore it's my first black and white crest, but rather that than invent some incorrect colours. If any of you mates have knowledge of the colours I will be very happy to get these ;) Here are both the "original" and my version :D

Another unofficial badge. Here I also ask for help. The colours are purely from my memory from a coloured postcard I found on the net. Unfortunately I can't refind it. That's why I can't guarantee the colours are right. I will be very happy if anyone can either confirm them or the opposite ;) But here is the crest for HMS Glorious 1917.

Superb work on the Argus badge Kim. Regarding Glorious I think the suns reflection on the sea should be a lighter shade of blue to the sea colour. 8-)

Kim is certainly the master of ship badges. These are downright awesome to say the very least. Well done, Sir.

Thank you Bombhead and Monty. I'm glad it's received so well though it's in b/w. :D

You might be right. As I wrote, the colours are purely from my memory, but has your book from the Admiralty any description of it at all? :?:

Unfortunately that one is not in the book Kim. :( Just working on the principle of highlight as you would on a drawing where the light hits it.
