Interesting looking little ship. I'm impressed by your work on the original timber bridge, looks much better than the later evolutions but that's just personal opinion.
Just one question, what kind of powerplant did you have in mind for these vessels? with their twin shafts also they would likely have also been somewhat more costly to produce machinery wise than a simple single screw adaptation of a trawler or such design which by necessity would be basic and spartan in design. Like it or not these ships were built to be expendable so reducing your costs is the main goal along with allowing them to be built as quickly as possible.
Note that many WW2 destroyers was build with twin shaft, and some with either direct drive or simple reduction gears.
Caledonia, have always believed in that a good designed destroyer and so on can defeat any destroyer that was build to be cheep and fast to build.
