While we are at it, Why not have these guns on the sheet since they are British guns made for Norway but was used by the Brits, note the 9,2" gun is basically a redesigned railroad gun!

I redrew it, but it might be wrong sized, but there are next to no sources to find out how good it is and if it is no good, how big it should be..... so Hood is doing some research for that.

gentlemen, is it possible the ikara launcher is about 50% too big? I have found no references with the exact sizes, but on pictures it seems smaller then on the bucket.... and as the IKARA missile is most likely oversized like most missiles, and it is in the launcher, it might be..... I am gathering references for an IKARA belowdeck right now, so this might be an good moment to fix it :P

also, Hood, any progress on the Mk VI?

Funny you should think about the Mk VI because I've finally gotten around to it! :D

It was slightly too big, only a few pixels in it. In some photos the rail around the mid-section seems to slope upwards but I think its an optical illusion due to the sloping roof. I've changed the optical viewfinder as there are no side-windows. The bottom inspection panels do look like that but the earliest turrets aboard the Darings seem to have a slightly different layout but not enough to warrant changes at this scale. I've adjusted the below-deck width but touched nothing else there.

I agree on the Ikara, it is too big. Not sure by how much but its obvious when you compare to photos etc.

I've done some work on the GWS-25 light Sea Wolf and boxed Sea Dart and a Boxed Ikara (which might be too big). Once we get the Ikara sorted I'll post a new parts sheet.

I will check if the belowdeck parts still fit then, and take a look too for some accurate way to scale the ikara launcher. (whoever finds it first.... :P) also, boxed ikara has exact dimensioned lineart somewhere, so we can get that one perfectly accurate IIRC.

EDIT: the lineart was very quickly found :P

The belowdeck fitted perfectly into the County class deck layout, but its best to double-check it just in case!

Thanks for the boxed Ikara source. Scaling the Ikara launcher is going to be awkward on RN ships because its always belowdecks or behind bulwarks. Looking at some pictures in Friedman of some the 1960s projects I'm guessing it's at least 20 pixels high, but thats a rough ballpark and in each case the launcher is shown elevated. The SB part is horizontal.
