Who knows the Truman's yacht? Rusted, burned and near to sink...
Here is her story

Aras (2°) - 1930

PG 56 USS Williamsburg during ww2

AGC 396 USS Williamsburg after ww2 as Presidential yacht

transferred to NOAA as Anton Bruun

... and hopefully restored...

Very interesting work! :)
But maybe those vertical spars between the decks would look better 3-pixel thick?

Beautiful. This is a beautiful ship, and a great drawing. And I didn't know she was being restored, that's great!

She's not being restored. A group wants to, but they lack the funding. She sits in port in La Spezia rusting away. Probably beyond saving at this point.

Aw man... I'm always slightly saddened when seeing a ship in such a state.

Yeap.. Id rather see a ship like that scrapped insted of letting her rust away like that.

most of that rust color looks like it's just the paint that have got some rust... but the most interesting thing is if the sea hull is in good condition. and if then engines is still good.

Honestly, how much would it cost to haul her out on to the land and let some one restore her...

A sad sight.

Great work, by the way, Lazer_One.
