A B-29 with floats that carries Fat Man. It can be launched and recovered via the aft catapult.

Also, make the bow into a giant LST-style ramp with clamshell doors. And add treads on the bottom of the ship to make it amphibious. It can drive up on the enemy beach (while launching nuclear shells), open the bow ramp and disgorge hundreds of tanks and troops.

Oh Colosseum, if I'm going to make the back half a carrier as in the Iowa proposal, I'm going to launch stealth bombers off this thing, replace the forward turrets with laser cannons, and put a nuclear power plant in it.

Ace gave all the useful criticism. I have nothing to add to what he said.

Pretty much. Such a drawing starts at "why?" and only goes downhill from there.

Sorry dude, just a tongue in cheek thing, my first post was legit suggestions :)

In the case of this drawing its of a class that was never built, then we are talking about modifying it 50 years later with a refit that resembles nothing ever done in real life. So basically you can go whatever direction you want AU wise but it still needs to work technically.

I have a generally poor opinion of kitbashers to begin with...
