Isn't picture number 17, the one of USNS Sisler taken in Corpus Cristi?

It's either Lexington (at Corpus Christi) or Yorktown (at Mount Pleasant, South Carolina).

Hmm, looking closer at the Sisler, the surer I am that it's in CC. We were moored right in front of a USNS ship that looked very much like it. Couldn't see the name though.

Further looking reveals that you are correct Thiel. I apologize for doubting you on this.

I can confirm that this is a picture of the USNS Sisler taken by a photographer on the Harbor Bridge in Corpus Christi, TX in Feb 1999. She has just passed the Lexington. The Texas State Aquarium is the white building in between the two ships.
