This is my design for a new frigate for the Philippine Navy. The Philippine Navy is currently seeking to purchase 2 brand-new frigates to upgrade its fleet. The US, Israel, Croatia, South Korea and Australia all have offered the Philippine Navy new frigates, according to this article. My design is a conjectural design for a Philippine-built frigate with AAW, ASuW and ASW capabilities.

Background Information (Conjectural only, do not use in research about the Philippine Navy!)
The Andres Bonifacio-class frigates were designed to replace several ships in the Philippine Navy. The antiquated frigate BRP Rajah Humabon and the Rizal and Miguel Malvar classes of corvettes. The lead ship of the class, BRP Andres Bonifacio (PF-20), was laid down in Navotas Shipyard in 2007, launched in 2010 and commissioned in 2012. Two sister ships are currently (2013) under construction, BRP Emilio Aguinaldo (PF-21) and BRP Ramon Magsaysay (PF-22). The Andres Bonifacio-class frigates have capabilities greater than previous ships in the Philippine Navy. The Andres Bonifacio-class frigates carry a 16-cell Mk. 41 VLS carrying 64 Evolved Sea Sparrow missiles, providing local air defense capabilities. Providing guidance to the Evolved Sea Sparrow missiles is the CEAFAR and CEAMOUNT radar sets, allowing for a very high rate of fire of missiles and defense against saturation attacks. Anti-ship armament is composed of RGM-84L Harpoon Block II missiles, with a secondary land attack capability. The frigates carry an Oto Melara 76 mm Super Rapid gun mount and a Phalanx CIWS. The Philippine Navy is currently building only 3 Andres Bonifacio-class frigates since the Navy is focusing on upgrading its older Lupo Class frigates (Gregorio Del Pilar-class in Philippine Navy service) and the contract with DCNS to build a Mistral-class amphibious assault ship for the Philippine Navy to replace its old World War II-era Landing Ship Tank units.

It's certainly not stupidly ambitious or looking as if someone found a bunch of tacticool systems and mounted them randomly on a hull, I'll give it that much credit.

you need more free board.

you can first start with lifting the forward deck with the 76 mm up on the same height as the MK-41 VLS.

Update: Fixed the low freeboard (which would be a problem in a typhoon-prone country such as the Philippines), raising it to the same height as the Mk. 41 VLS.

Now you can think about that you need to be able to look aft from the bridge, so bridge wings would be an good idea.

Here are two example of an frigate:

Update: Added bridge wings, which I patterned after the bridge wings on the Lafayette Class frigates in order to avoid compromising the ship's stealth characteristics.

if you want more stealth, the you should replace the railings with solid railings, just like on the Norwegian frigate and the Danish frigate.

and I would also start thinking about Navigation radars, satcoms, VHF etc. But also think about getting them out of the way of the crew, and Satcome or Navigation radar can give a lot of radiation from them.

Oh. some navigation light would be nice.

Update: Fixed the SATCOM sets, added UHF antenna, fixed SLQ-32, fixed SPS-67 and improved shading of the bulbous bow. I may add more detailed background info on the ship some time later.

Hmmm.. Prey tell, where are the bridge wings? I cannot find them. I would also look into ways to integrate the CIWS unit on your hangar with this structure, whereby you can achieve additional stealth capability. The same goes for the Harpoons. Look at the provided Iver Hvidtfeld and Nansen for solutions. Otherwise a promising, but perhaps somewhat overambitious design for a poverty-stricken navy of an even more poverty-stricken country.
