The drawings will probably be out of chronological order sometimes, since I'll be posting them as I finish them. Nice work.

Looks nice indeed. I have my doubts about the vertical tail however, it doesn't look to have nearly enough area to counter the aerodynamic forces the aircraft would encounter in flight. The most obvious area of that here though is the narrow taper it has just beneath the horizontal stabilizer. In reality this area, like in every T tail design, has to be considerably strengthened to take the weight of the stabilizers as well as to secure it to the airframe. This extra weight and difficulty to access its mechanisms is what has made T tail designs sadly fall by the wayside except in small craft where their ground clearance is advantageous as is keeping them well clear of the wings turbulent air.

Except that they've disappeared in small aircraft because they tend to result in extra "float" upon landing (or at least that's what a lot o pilots claimed)

It's partial float but also as the T tail in small aircraft (by small I'm talking Piper sized) the T was so close to the center of the lifting force for the wings that it made controlling the aircraft in ground effect slightly tricky. Pitch was also easily exaggerated in such situations which could and did cause a number of accidents.

Only new designs really with T tails these days are military cargo transports and business jets that I can name. Turoprop airliners also tend to have them.

Thanks for the comments. I've based the C120 on the Fokker 100, CRJ and MD series, and I think the T-tail was still seen as valid in the 80s when this one would have been designed. I can beef up the tail area a bit more though.
