It have been a loooong time since I last posted something real. So here we go!


Oslo class, HNoMS Oslo as build 1966-1975:

When I have found out the exact year some of the Oslo class got an radar upgrade, I will post it.

There are just one thing I belive now, is after have searching the entire web about it, the Siemens/Plessey AWS-9 long range air search radar whit these type of "Dish" was special made for Oslo class, while the British version was an 3D radar. (you could get an 2D or an 3D radar version, the 2D have longer range and after the Kongsberg (I think) upgrade more ... accurate!)

btw. I have updated the first post, so you don't have to search my topic for the finish drawings.


oh for the color template: I tried to get the Little bit darker gray with a hint of blue in it as the Norwegian used at that time, today the RNoN are using a light grey with a dash of blue in it!
