The golden fleet

The Golden fleet consist of ships of various type of the four Kingdom, This "Golden fleet" had a standard rule:

§1 This is the Golden fleet.
§1.A The Golden fleet shall carry it's own flag and no flag from the other Kingdom.
§1.B The Flag is read with and golden cross from one corner of the flag to an another corner, with gold around it, and to present each four Kingdom, there shall be
four crown in it.
§2 All ship must have golden hull and funnel. (in more modern time it was only a golden funnel or a golden crest at the bow)
§3 All ship shall be maned by the best man from the four Kingdom.
§3.A All men must have minimum 5 years experience or have shown him shelf as an proven man that are skilled at what he do.
§3.B He must also be schooled and self thinking man, that can solve any problem he faces.
§3.C He must be Neutral to any of the four Kingdom and obey only his commander or Admiral.
§4 The Flag ship of any Kingdom shall always be commanded by an Vice admiral or higher.
§5 The commander of the fleet must have the rank Admiral or Higher.
§6 The fleet shall consist of 3 Dreadnought (later battleships) from each Kingdom, 6 Cruisers or 8 Destroyers
§7 The fleet shall have an support fleet build for this fleet only, protected by 1 cruiser and 2 destroyer from each country.
§8 This fleet can only be given an attack order by the four king together, or by an Marshall that have been given the fleet.
§9 Ships all ships that are a part of the fleet are looked to it for 10 years. what ever happens this fleet is Neutral.
§9.A If there should be an war between Kingdoms, this fleet shall be Neutral commanded by an High ranking officer from and another allied world that also have to put
it's own ship inside the fleet, as an neutral toll.
§9.A.1 The fleet can be used by the allied commander, as an Neutral and peacekeeping fleet against the four Kingdom.
§9.B The fleet can attack one of the Kingdom if the three of the other kings and four allied to the fleet agrees. In some circumstances there can be done an vote between the men.
§10 treason against the fleet it punished by dead.
§10.A If the commanding officer feels light hearted he can mount the traitor on the gun barrel as an gun mascot. her he will stay for a week, even during exercise. he will the be sent back to his home Kingdom, where the King or the Queen have to deal with him personally. (Note: if he is lucky it is the queen)


The golden fleet was nicked by allied as: "the floating gold" In modern time it was nicked: "The floating Special force". they are and high priced fleet that many nation will and would think twice about going against it.


HHoMS Orion

Is one of the ships that are an part of the golden fleet. The ship is build Haram way, and as the King once said: "Haram always need to build a ship more powerful than the other three kings".

By the crew of the Golden fleet the ship was nicked. "The tumbler". But it was also regarded as one of the best ship, even when it's big gun gave it a funny handling capability in rough sea!

Shall I continue with the gold fleet and it's history, or shall I focus more one Haram.


If you have some good History knowledge, it would be very helpful if you could make an list of conflicts this fleet could be in an type of neutral patrol or perhaps, an allied or foe! and since it is four Kingdoms, perhaps you can come with an idea of politics this kingdoms could have. Things that can perhaps make an conflict... or not!

I like it, although I think it's a bit early for the secondary battery to be in turrets, especially twins.

If there have been build a semi-open guns in that time period, there is noting stopping people to build a closed version! ...by just ad a wall to the semi-closed version!
