I'm glad this is back on; deffenetly a favourite among the (few)modest AUs. Looks like a nice design too.
Aren't those turrets from the REALLY old parts sheets though, which has been dismissed as obsolete? They also have some pixel errors on the top edge, but that's easily rectified.

I actually drew them myself, based on the superfiring twin on the Sverige class. The pixe error is supposed to be a sighting slit for the turret captain. The AA guns are also home made, based on a 75mm gun that saw use on a lot of Danish ships before WWII.

Looks like a balanced, well-thought out design.

That's a rather interesting little cruiser. Could you not extend the bridge structure forward perhaps a deck or a deck and a half in height to cover the barbette of B turret?

I could, I can't see what I'd gain by it though.

Mainly for aesthetics but also somewhere higher and drier for the 20/23mms to live.

I've tried a couple of layouts, but I can't fit the 20mm guns up there without them getting in the way of the 152mm guns.

Fair enough. The only problematic thing I could foresee is if they were mounted on the wings as they are and a deck higher there might be blast issues when the B turret is fully traversed to the rear. Other than the possibility of tenderizing your gunners the tubes wouldn't as far as I can tell at least interfere with them. Another option would be to extend the bridge wings and mount the 20mm there?
