Like an achievement badge? It's not really a medal or ribbon, just says "100 Uploaded drawings" for instance, or "New Artist Coach" stuff like that.

As far as any ranks would go, in terms of insignias most navies tend to use very similar insignias and the titles seem to translate fairly well. A Nato OF-5 (US O-6) generally has 4 stripes of standard thickness, and I think most of us would recognize that as "Captain" or whatever the local translation is. Maybe don't attach a title with it but a grade. I've thrown this idea out there before, but there were issues to be worked through before, and probably still are. How, for instance, do we determine who would have what rank to start? Are all Elite and Premium members holding 3/4 gold stripes, and everyone else falls in somewhere below? A post-count based system wouldn't work, since there are people who post ALOT but haven't really contributed much uploadable material or real credible AU scenarios *need to quit looking in the mirror when I write this stuff* Do those people, who's text contributions may be good, get lower ranks such as OF-2 or OF-1?

@Gollevainen
Ok, I understand. Still, I don't like the idea and prefer it the way it is (more-or-less).
Of course I'm not the one who's making the decision about it, but since it's an opportunity to voice an opinion, I'm using that opportunity.

"Coach"? That sounds so American. I would rather for something more British, like "Distinguished CoA Artist" for example. :lol:
Actually in Polish Navy "captain" ("kapitan" - fully "kapitan marynarki") has four stripes, but it's OF-2. ;)

It probably does, Eswube, but I am, after all, an American so there is going to be that bias in my suggestions I suppose. In several navies, aren't there several grades of Captain? Captain of the Line, Destroyer Captains, Frigate Captains, Corvette Captains or Captains 1st Rank, 2nd Rank, Etc?

It doesn't really matter because I will certainly not be instituting a fake military rank system on this forum. That's super waltish and I don't want to foster that kind of attitude here.

Current system works - basically. Now it seems that some folks would really want to fix it. :/
