Thanks all.
Wow, awesome! I would say keep the plane, it really ads to the drawing. Now if only you could do CB-2 in her disruptive scheme...and maybe hawai in her semi complete state...
Yes, the plan is to draw the following:
CB-1, 1944 (as the first unit it had several differences from CB-2, but the two ships look almost exactly the same by 1945) - Measure 32 Design 1D / OS2U Kingfisher floatplanes
CB-1, 1945 (complete) - Measure 22 / SC-1 Seahawk floatplanes
CB-2, 1944 - Measure 32 Design 7C / OS2U Kingfisher floatplanes
CB-2, 1945 - Measure 22 / SC-1 Seahawk floatplanes
CB-3, 1948 - a "never built" of USS Hawaii if she had been completed.
Maybe later I will make some post-war refits but not sure.
It could work, but I think it then needs lot more space in the template between the ship, the plane and the scale-bar.
I think unfortunately that it distracts quite a bit from the ship. I will probably remove it from later versions, and attach a separate FD scale template with the appropriate seaplanes. I don't add badges and coats of arms for the same reason!
