Two more representations of the same ship – a few years later.
This is how she looked like during her second expedition. This time Otto Sverdrup, who already captained her on the first voyage, took her to West Greenland and the Canadian Arctic.
Some modification’s where done to the ship. Most notably the area between forecastle and quarterdeck was closed in. The cabin on deck has been removed and there are a some minor changes in the rigging. Fram is on display in the Fram Museum, Oslo – restored to this state – at least close to it.
