Simply stunning. What else can I say? A deserved replacement for my own, mis-scaled, attempts. Comparing them shows how far SB has come in five years and what the skill level is like nowadays. We can only await more of these awesome carrier drawings!

A big thank you to everyone, it makes me glad my work is appreciated.

Before we go to the 1942-version of Graf Zeppelin, here's a little interlude:
The Z-Plan included four aircraft carrier, two Graf Zeppelin-class and two smaller 12000t-designs, of which apparently no plan were drawn. However, thoughts were turned to even smaller carrier designs, a 6000t-design. It had an overall lenght of 161m, had room for around twelve to fifteen fighters and no armor. The armament included four 105mm twin Flaks, four 37mm twins and four 20mm quads. Overall, those carriers would have been very much been regarded as 'expandable materiel'.

This design was first drawn by Ashley in a very modified form for his KM1946-AU. I re-modified it to the original planned state and honestly, there isn't much left of Ashley's ship, but I left his name in the credits just to be safe. Also, the top view is completely new.

Edit: updated with 2015 version
