A Great project Alex - congratulations
I know you manage to post an amazing amount of work, and I do appreciate all of it, but this just has to deserve a special thanks; as it represents a most significant ship, which sank:
In a dual off the West Australian coast 19 November 1941. Unfortunately, the Sydney neglected the basic rule of engagemnet by running in too close, and the Kormoran did what it was supposed to do - sank her, but in doing so she was also crippled. The Sydney wa slost with all hands, and the Kormoran sank, with most of her crew surviving.
