Yeah I highly doubt that the power power grids of the large countries would fail.

And if that happened the worlds economy would collapse.

Well it's not actually fail, it's currently unknown what happened to America however since it's Alternative universe this is mostly what-ifs, what-if the power-grids did fail, and most countries weren't as depend economy wise on each other as they are now.

now you could of course crack down every single thing I say, or have just have fun, like I mostly intend too with this AU. there are a lot things in the timeline that seem highly unlikely to happen, however they did and this is how this universe dealt with them.

Fox, the best suggestion I have for you is to keep in mind internal consistency. You can generally get away with a lot more if you keep it internally consistent.
