I don't believe there was a Mk.28 radar - from all my research, the Mk.33 director normally did not mount a radar until mid-war, when they were fitted with Mk.4 radars. . .
Mark 28 radar was mounted on Mk.33 directors some reference also see pic [ img ] where the circled dish on the Mk.33 director is the mk.28 radar

Ah, OK, I was confusing that with the Mk.25 radar - which I'm now not sure is even a thing. :S

Updating the 5"/38 mount:

I'm starting with the mounts aboard Alaska (as I am currently trying to redraw it but keep getting held up redrawing all these poorly-scaled parts...)

At some point I will probably draw the rest - but no promises.

To Clarify what has and has not been drawn,

I'll probably get the Mk 22 mount done tomorrow.

Decided to work through the USN radars. There is a new SK radar but nothing else.

That's Mk38 Mod 2 I think but thanks. I'll try to convert it to manually operated Mk38.
