Shipbucket

Can I ask, what is the general consensus on the commercial use of Shipbucket images. As in published in books, magazines etc...

What would I be expected to do in order to use an Image?

Hello Bullfrog, I am Timothy Cizadlo, the general point of contact for copyright and fair use issues. The standing practice is to handle requests for commercial use on a case-by-case basis. The obvious original rights-holders are the individual artists. The generalized licnese that is the basis of our fair use agreement is Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. This is just a general enquiry, I have a couple of ideas right now but nothing substantiated.
According to the licence you shared with me I can make commercial use of content freely however I wouldn't want to upset the community here and I feel the artists deserve proper credit for their work.

Is there a PM function we can continue this over?

PM use only becomes availble after the user has made 5 posts. This is a measure to keep spambots from using the PM system.
