Oh yes! This is one stunning destroyer! A Type 42 on some serious steriods. A lovely blend of systems, I like the idea of Sea Eagle ASMs and the lightweight Sea Wolf is good to see too. Also, for those not following the RN Parts thread, the 4.5in Mk 8 here is new standard part, and seeing it here convinces me its far better than the old one.
This revived AU thread was already excellent, but just got even better!

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it :)
@Blackbuck - I've had that prop on the drawing for a while now so there is probably something better out there, any tips as to where I could find one?
One of the best things about AU's is the chance to play with weapons/equipment that never made it in the real world and surface-launch Sea Eagle and lightweight Sea Wolf were perfect for what I wanted. (The Sea Eagle launchers are a bit of a mix between the old Harpoon and the Otomat launchers)
I have to agree that the new Mk 8 mount is a great improvement over the old one, a credit to Ace.

You could either lift one off of a suitable existing design or have a go at bashing one out. They're finicky but at least you can call it your own :D
@ Sea Eagle, I've also been messing around with them and I must say yours look a damn site better than mine!

Great :D The Type 42 before the number crunchers got their way; it shows what could have been, but then we coulddn't have afforded so many; but glad to see Resherche getting it.

What a lovely set of drawings! I especially like the idea of offering them up for "export" not least because it means hat people don't have to horrendously kit bash things!

I think labels on where to put country-specific parts (in red font) are meant for telling prospective kit bashers to do things right.

Well considering he is using the same idea that I came up with, so I think I know what I meant to say.

Thanks for the kind words :)
Just did a minor edit to put the correct Sea Wolf directors on.
