Why out of interest the stern chaser 6pdr?

That IS a nice looking light cruiser. I like it.

I didn't design the basic Springsharp of the ship, but the 6pdrs were meant to be anti-MTB guns. They didn't catch on and are the only cruisers to feature them.

Fair enough point I thought they'd be for something along those lines, like the single 2pdr mounts were used for on things.

Nice one Hood, but I'm curious that this is a smaller Town/Colony class; does this mean its smaller that the Colony? If so I'd be worried as that design was seriously cramped :(

No its slightly bigger than a Colony, just a little. Springsharp allows all kinds of cramped ships that probably wouldn't work in real life. I think this looks ok, really the twelve 3.7in DP mounts are cramped on a ship this small and if I had designed her original springsharp report I wouldn't have overloaded the ship quite this much.

At some point I'm planning to do all the RN cruisers but that will be a long-long-term project!

I've updated my drawing of the Royal Navy's Admiral Class battleship for Wesworld.
A super-battleships akin to the Montana's etc. but retaining that British style. I've tried to make her a super-Vanguard in appearance.
Specifications (from Springsharp): 881 x 123 x 33 feet, 60,355 tons standard, 4x3 16.5in guns, 10x2 4.5in Mk VI, 8x2 57mm 6pdr AA, 6x2 40mm 2pdr AA, 16in thick belt, 6.5in deck armour (layered), 30 kts and 10,000nm at 12 kts.

Nice, I wonder why brits never name ships with full names like: HMS Vice Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson or just Horatio Nelson.
