So I started this quite some time ago. I soon moved onto other things, and the folder housing this project got lost into other folders and it was forgotten. This morning I was sorting through some of my folders and found it about 3/4 completed. I felt that I should finish it, so I have been working on it for the past hour. I am posting it to get some opinions on some of the small details, but other than that it is pretty much done.

So here it is. The ship that got me interested in ships:

The real ship.

Thank you for the compliments!

I am pleased with how it came out, but I have some concerns with the details.

The first concern is the railing. Is that passable?
Second, at the very top of the mast, is supposed to be a light (not sure what it's called ) and the reference photos don't show a good indication of the color of that light. Any input on this?
Third, on the crane, I am not sure if I should keep it in it's raised position, or to put it in a stored horizontal position.

Other than that, if there is anything I missed, I would greatly appreciate feedback.

Thank you!

this should give some indication.
IIRC, the light could be yellow (white) or red.

Ok, thank you ace.
From looking at that I can conclude that under normal conditions, the lights would be white.

Nice work.
Railings should be in standard format, colored to suit the hull if need be, but the format should be the standard one.

Much better.
One question I have concerns the whitish things on the fore deck, which appear to be railings, but your picture shows a solid bulwark from stem to the bridge?
