I can only echo the comments above. A real gem.
I know its a small ship but remember designed as a scout its on a light-cruiser hull basis in concept rather than a fresh sheet design with parameters around aircraft needs. Also planes back then needed less deck to get airborne. I still think Hermes has good lines though and is impressive in her own way.

Yup, looking at those drawings I realize that giving this ship up to Bombhead was a good idea. Maybe a great idea. Perhaps even stupendous.

The above should be translated as meaning "wow, nice ship drawing!" :D

As written above I've promised you HMS Hermes in 1942 version. Though I'm only ca. 80% done with the top view I show her now (the interference this evening is my family :D ). I'll promise you she will become 100% done tomorrow. Notice the difference between starboard and the port side! It's not a mistake. The starboard is darker than the port side. Why? I don't know, but maybe some of you have an intelligent answer ;)
