The thread title might be a little too promising because I've drawn only one ship so far and planning on one or two more. Besides all the major warships (two frigate classes and submarines) are already in ShipBucket so, given that Portugues Navy rather small size, there's no much choice left.

Anyway, here's the first submission: so called "oil recovery ship" which is in fact a rescue/salvage vessel. It's not even armed :)

Also I want to draw Viana do Castelo and maybe Bacamarte so please don't start on those ;)

Great looking little one. Waiting to see the rest. Also, nice work on the color scheme...

I used colors from this drawing; I guess it's the Mediterranean scheme :?

Thank you.

Here's Portuguese newest offshore patrol vessel that's supposed to replace all their corvettes.

Very nice, but the helicopter should be hovering over the deck as there is no hanger space,

Ok, I can fix that. Although it raises a question: does this rule apply to the merchant ships as well? I'm just wondering if I should fix the X-Bows also.

Yes, it applies to all ships.

NRP Afonso de Albuquerque was a so called "colonial aviso 1st class" - a landing troop support ship with long range.
After the WW2 it was re-classified as a frigate F470.
In 1961 it was destroyed by Indian ships during the Goa invasion.
