Wonderful stuff! Great detailing too. Only the yellow-coloured structure on the aft deck doesn't look right. I will have a look at home for some pictures of this addition. As this structure was only added in 1938, you could also choose to simply leave it out.

It might be some sort of wind screen that could be raised to protect passengers on the deck, but I don't know that for a fact. The tourist lounge was added in 1936 in that area. Some pictures also show a large framework over the area between the second and third funnels where the name board was placed.

This appears to be later in her life since the lounge is there aft on the boat deck. The name board seems to be replaced with the covering, which might have been over tennis courts, IIRC.

Of the big three (Normandie, QE, and QM) the Normandie was always my favorite.


BTW, there were plans to convert her into a carrier before and after her fire (the hull was relatively intact but totally gutted - which in essence the fire would've done half the conversion work anyway). I don't suppose you can do this config too?
