No need for apology, I understand why it would be a concern. As for the 25mm mounts, I will leave as is unless someone wishes a special refit.

I saw earlier drawings of Yamato and wondered why the AA guns weren't trained outward. Now I know. Looking forward to Yamato January 1945!

Here is what Yamato likely looked like when coming out of refitting in January 1945:

Will post second version of this which will count as the March ( though se spent most of her time refitting for Ten Go).

The other likely look of Yamato per 1945 pre operation Ten Go with more open 25mm mounts and only a few remaining 25mm singles.

Wow! Fantastic work, Erusia! :D
I think it should say "Japan, Yamato Class IJN Yamato January 1945" and "Japan, Yamato Class IJN Yamato [Month] 1945" in the credits though, just to avoid confusion. :)

The problem is, It is uncertain how she looked through January to early March in terms of true aa outfit on her fore and aft quarters. during this time period she pent most of her time in her dry dock and earned the name "hotel Yamato" from the crew. Not to mention that she was modified a lot within her last 4 months of life. I will humor you all by making an official "March" Yamato, add some other custom looks because, hell, this is the Yamato everyone recognizes and loves, plus I want to :D .

Amazing work...I guess the only drawing left is April 1945?

Very glad the trend has gone towards showing all versions of a ship during its service life instead of one "blanket" drawing.
