Thank you, everyone for your kindness. I will soon post the 1945 Yamatos, and before I do, I want to be forward about it. There is a great deal of controversy in how the Yamato was precisely fitted out in her last 4 months of operation, most of the articles and books you read are from other nations and based on photo analysis. The Japanese destroyed much of their records of Yamato after the war, leaving a void of uncertainty. What I will be portraying is from either the 1/10 Yamato model at the Yamato museum in Kure (arguably the most accurate for criteria March 1945) and studies and diagrams posted on the wreck of the ship, hence all Japanese sources and studies. It is also likely that I will post several different versions of same drawings, in that a lot is still uncertain.

Fantastic (and hard) work. I - and certainly all others here as well - am looking forward to see further additions.

I'm looking forward to them, as well as the 1943 version.

It's just been noticed (ok, pointed out to me by an eagle-eyed member who wishes to go unnamed) that the entire tertiary and quaternary batteries are not positioned fore and aft. So yeah, that needs to be fixed for it to be up to Shipbucket standards.

Could you be more specific please? I'm afraid I do not know what batteries you are pointing out.
