I am a bit doubted on the length of the boiler rooms and the corresponding turbine room length. I don't have friedmans destroyers on me now though, will check monday (you may remind me if I don't post back :P)

yes heuhen, as said, I might be wrong.
but I am mostly talking about the windows: the boiler room and turbine room have none of course, and I have an feeling the length between the aft boiler and the line of windows might be a tad short here.

just checked with other vessels of her age, I still think the turbine room is a bit short but it is doable as far as I can estimate it.

It is cramped, which is why the follow-on class is lengthened by about 28 feet.
