I started to draw it as an large escort cruiser and got a bit carried a way. but not much!

The main armament are 135 mm guns that I designed way back for Haram navy!

I am not an expert of these type of vessels so any help is nice. I need also help with radars, what radars and so one.

any suggestion you can come with must or would be nice to be stated as:

- as build (1940-43'ish)
- 1945 upgrade
- 1950 upgrade/refit
- 1960 upgrade/refit
- 1965 Possible looks as an test ship!

I know you love high freeboards but this is ridiculous. Maybe reduce the bow by a deck.

Yeah I can do that, and then have the forward battery of 20 mm on one deck.

edit: done!

135mm would not even be adequate for a light cruiser. I would suggest going for 6 inch (155mm) guns for you cruiser. Why is turret number 2 smaller than 1? Is it triple and twin?

Judging by it's size, a single.

That depends on the purpose of the cruiser. I think this could be a good Destroyer Leader. I'd rather have at least six than only five though.

You've got a rather odd weapons mix and the bridge looks like it belongs on a 1950ies concept drawing.

Honestly I think it looks hideous from an aesthetic point of view but there's potential for something especially if you re-designed the bridge and installed a gangway over the top of the torp-mounts...

It have become a Destroyer leader and I wanted it to become as a semi large Escort. Oh well... back to drawing table.

The superstructure is tilted a bit in the front. but I need to do some changes.

I have main armament, DP gun, AA gun, AA machine guns, torpedoes and depth charges.

Yes she is hideous and that's way I posted is already now! The bridge need a redesign (Suggestion about a real world ship I can look at for inspiration is always helpful),

torp-mounts: Gangway = better place for life boats.

You could use the British Leander class an Argentinian La Argentina as guides
