That is not the as completed version. I did not have a line drawing of her in 1934. What I have drawn is the 1941 version. In the time where she still had her tripod mast (later removed in 1942.) Had some extra AA guns at the stern. She also had her starboard catapult removed.

Yes, I have that HD drawing too, and, while, superficially, they resemble each other, they're not similar. One thing you might keep in mind is the fact that the US used the Imperial measuring system, whereas the French uses the Metric. Now, I cannot say what difference that'd make in SB, but I advice you to be careful with the measurements.
If you like, I can have a go at the boats for this vessel. I'd be happy to help out, especially, since the same boats would fit on my future Suffren-class!
Also you mention that her starboard cat was removed. If my memory serves me right she was completed with only one (port) catapult; the starboard deck space being devoted to ships' boats and floatplane stowage.

I have read that she had one catapult removed. She was scuttled with a port catapult. She was never used after being raised by the Italians. How can that be if she was built with only one catapult? Anyway, I have updated the bow and stern of the ship based on the new and somewhat better line drawing.

Nice work Karle, I've been thinking a bit about this ship lately so its very timely to see her in SB form.

Whitley's 'Cruisers of World War Two' confirms only a port-side catapult was fitted from completion, the starboard side being used for boats and seaplanes as the ship lacked a hangar.

I have noticed one thing, it`s that sources says she has so and so many AA guns, but the drawings of them never show them. Only a few of them, the ones that I have put on my drawings. This goes for the Courbet class, Bretagne class and now the Algérie.

Now, there we go! Nice renditions - except your 1942 version. Where's the extended AA-gun platform? It was the greatly enlarged former admiral's (top-)bridge that was so rebuilt. It did extend all the way to the edge of the bridge structure proper, being supported by to struts.

The 1942 version has been fixes. It did not extend quite as long as the edge of the brige, but the after end of the bridge structure.

You're right about that, I mentioned it from memory, but your fix is most satisfactory and I'm looking forward to save them to my album.

Nice Karle The French and Italian cruisers had an elegant look about them, and I guess they were designed agianst each other. What with the current crop of German and Japanese and now French WWII era designs, the Bucket is looking increasingly professional.
