Admittedly I am no expert at hull shading, but the shading on the bow just looks, well, strange. Overall, though, I like the beginnings of what has the potential to be an interesting Battlecruiser. Of course, given some of the BC's I've come up with for my own AU, I apparently like "odd". ;)

Question ... Why the scaffolding around the funnel?

I will suggest yuo to follow Shipbucket standard color rule, and when you master these rules. And have drawn ships for a year first then you can play with colors on Alternative universe ships.

READ THIS:
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16

color rule, always follow this!:

5.1 Colors

- Second basic line color (dark grey): #7D7D7D or RGB 125,125,125
- "Black" areas on the hull or on outwardly-sloping surfaces: #292929 or RGB 41,41,41
- "Black" areas on the superstructure or on inward-sloping surfaces: #3D3D3D or RGB 61,61,61
- Railing: #AEAEAE or RGB 174, 174, 174
- Windows: #1873FF or RGB 24,115,255
- Propeller Yellow: #FFFF00 or RGB 255,255,0
- Hull Red: #FF0000 or RGB 255,0,0
- Hull Shading Color: #A04000 or RGB 160,64,0

I revised the masts, added some details and an aircraft hangar aft. I'm not sure I completely understand the color scheme but I've revised and brought it closer:

Don't listen to him. You can use whatever colour scheme you want to use so long as it conforms to the shading guidelines.
