Built by Fincantieri Le Boréal is a cruise ship operated by the French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant. Built in 2010, is a sister ship L'Austral (built in 2011) and The Soleal (to be delivered in July 2013), with 132 cabins and suites for 264 passengers and 140 crew. Le Boréal was put into service on May 6, 2010. She won the award for "Best New Artist of the Year - GOLD" European Cruiser Association (EUCRAS).
