I suggest you use the directors from the USS Wichita
That's a superb drawing.

My only comment is that Wasp would not have had TBFs at the time she ferried Spitfires to Malta
They are included more as an homage rather than as an accurate depiction of a particular air wing. I can take them out for the purists! :P

probably forget few 12,7mm MG (or 7,62 light MG ?) in the island & on the side ?
Yes, I think so. The HNSA plans I'm working from doesn't include the all the weapons at the time of her sinking. Also some photos/models show 4 searchlights on the funnel and some only 2.

IIRC Thiel has drawn the US 20mm mounts from WW2 in the correct scale.
Thanks for all your help.

Finally got around to finishing the repaint (only took me six months  ) I'm certainly no master at camo and while I'm sure many will find faults with the scheme, I have no intention of another repaint so if someone feels like making alterations... be my guest! :P

I've also swapped out the HMG's for 20mm Oerlikons as according to the HNSA plans.

I hope to make a start on Ranger CV-4 soon.

Despite I haven't seen the original source I will say she looks astonishing. Master or not you have made a very fine camo job ;)

Surely someone has redone all my World War II USN planes? Those original versions are really bad by modern eyes. ;)

Thanks all.

I'll look into the planes, maybe the colours are wrong.
