I have been spending this evening drawing the French battleship Courbet.

Courbet class as commisioned:

Looks promising. I hope you have looked at the link I gave you earlier, as its the official French navy drawings which were used for the building of the ships.

Yes, a worthy addition, congratulations :) Small nit pick, the props look different, is that correct? Also, (and this isn't something that I'm insisting on) with shading the overhangs, you might find some folk will argue for just the one pixel width of one hue, rather that the two pixels of diferent hues.

You`ve got a point, the propellers are a little different from source to source. I`ve now changed it to the official blueprints layout. That is the first time anyone has mantioned the double colored shading on my ships. I can change it to just one pixle if that is best.

I believe there is no problem with 2 toned shading, as it was allowed (to some extend) for a long time now.
