my reference was flawed, so it really needs an redo, or at least a fix, I think. and even if not, I believe the as build and as modified (before the WW2 rebuild) should be represented as well, but I just lack time and interest in that time era to do so myself. you or BB1987 are the best bet to see this ship being correctly and beautiful represented in the bucket ;)
Have done so, and by earlier do you mean earlier in the war or in operational life?

both :P as build, as modified in the 30's and the WW2 modification, at least! :P well, that was what I was planning back then.

Are you planning on redrawing the A-150s already posted (the ones with 8x and 12x 18.1-inch guns) as well?

Musashi had her 15cm wing mount guns removed in April of 1944, and had 3 posts placed intended for extra 127mm guns on either side. Unlike the Yamato, these spots were instead filled with 3 triple 25mm mounts on either side. aditional portholes were closed, numbers 8 and 7 searchlights were also replaced with rocket launchers, and type 13 radar attached to her mast. total AA armament brought to 35 triple 25mm mounts and 24 25mm single mounts. Please not that the configuration of Musashi was poorly documented, so this is the best rendition of her in 1944 that I could produce:
