I just recently purchased a 1:700 scale model of the USS North Carolina (to put alongside my Yamato) and inside found this little gem.

the guide sheet for painting the finished model. I'm not sure if anyone has done BB-55 or not, though I might be tempted
since it's named after the state I live in. But I figured I'd post it here in case anyone might find it useful.

I keep saying I'm going to draw it, but it never actually gets drawn.

I'm working on building the model right now, and 1:700 scale .50 caliber machine guns are extremely tiny and easy to lose. The surprising thing about this model, is the option to have the primary and secondary battery barrels elevate not just the usual transverse motions that are standard on these models.

Colosseum, do you mind if I go ahead and give the North Carolina a try?
