A slightly different version of the Cyclone that I had fun playing with, the Float Cyclone (such an original name...)

Have to admit it does look good as a floatplane, the name somehow seems more appropriate for it now!

One thing I would change in your stats though is reduce the service ceiling to something around the mid 20,000ft range. Floats are heavy and will prevent the plane from climbing terribly high. The RAF brown and green and the Pacific theater marking variants look excellent.

Love it, Rowdy. Keep up the good work!

Can we expect any more Cyclone variants? A dedicated navy Sea Cyclone maybe?

I can imagine there being a good looking twin engine aircraft from Recherche too ;) ;)

Thanks for the comments guys :)
I've adjusted the service ceiling down, though I don't want to go down too far since the Spitfire Vb floatplane supposedly had an estimated ceiling of just over 33,000ft.
I have no current plans for more Cyclone variants (though this version was a spur of the moment thing so I won't say no to more in the future). I'm not sure about good looking, but there is certainly a twin engine aircraft in the works :)

28,000ft sounds about right. I remember mentions of the spitfire version having a higher ceiling but I believe that wasnt the true ceiling but rather one achieved through an unarmed version of the aircraft in testing with reduced weight set to achieve performance goals. Germany did the same with the Me-209 racer which they tried to make it see, like it was an adaptation of the 109 and not a new design.

The replacement for the Paladin infantry tank in Recherche service is the Phalanx medium tank:

Great work.

But you sure that 76mm can be instaled in almost the same turret from the beginning of this tank ? Maybe Mk.IV should have a little bigger one ?
