IJN Yamato commissioned on December 16, 1941. Assigned to Battle Division 1 with battleships IJN Nagato and IJN Mutsu. Problems discovered during shakedown are corrected at Kure.

you attention to details is impressive.
also, pardon me but i do not understand clearly, you are doing Shininano as a BB (never built), as a carrier or both?
anyway, i can't wait for the next drawing.

Pretty fantastic drawing. It's interesting to study this drawing and realize I couldn't draw something of similar configuration even if I tried. I'm too set in USN ways.

Well I've come to find everyone has a sweet spot, for me its this class. (my H-11 class was a laughable failure).

Was just playing around a little. This is my artistic rendering, not necessarily an official drawing. It is just for fun and looking at ;)
